New Year in our own style continues!
It’s said, the whole year depends on how you celebrate New Years Eve. We started the New Year together and now we are celebrating the Russian Pancake Day called Maslenitsa.

Maslenitsa is a very popular folk festival lasting the whole week, it is loved by russians and is usually called “sugar lips“, “kissing” and “delicious“.
The tradition of Maslenitsa is to say farewell to winter and awaken the beginning of spring from hibernation with songs, horse riding, sleigh riding and celebrating the symbol of Maslenitsa – decorating straw effigys(dolls) on women’s clothing.

The main treat and symbol of Maslenitsa are pancakes because they look like the summer sun.
As per Russian myths, the God of the Sun – Yarilo was called on by people to say farewell to Winter.

Portimão – is the one of the largest cities on the southern coast of Portugal

Algarve is one of the best tourist destinations in Europe. There are a variety of beaches with long strips of white sand, calm warm waters and constant sunny weather throughout the year. Algarve is also famous for their golf courses. All of these qualities make the Algarve coast a high-class resort for all seasons.

Portimão is the one of the largest cities on the southern coast of Portugal. At the famous Praia da Rocha beach, you can find various restaurants, bars, clubs, spa centres, sports grounds and halls, playgrounds, casinos, viewing platforms and a yacht club.

You can witness rare moments like seeing pink flamingos when driving along the snow-white arch bridge over the river Arad.
